I started at the control end and ran along a trim molding behind the tv, into the cabinet lining the bottom of each shelf. Sticks well. The lights didn’t work initially so I unplugged the connector and flipped it over. Lights came right on. I need to play with the colors and app later.

I love these lights, they work wonderful the app is easy to use and the app works better than the remote. You can set a timer for when u want them to turn on and they can dance to your music. They also give u many different light options from rainbow to any color. You can even pic the color of your choosing that matches the color u chose on the color wheel.
