For years while working in government I used Apple Macbooks but didn’t want to spend the money on them for my own private use. Starting a good 10 years ago I converted over, and my life really is much simpler: Iphone synchs to my macbook and I love the sturdiness of the iwatch, that survives no matter what I’m doing, be it swimming, hiking, the gym, etc. So, I’m into travel photography and go all over the world so needed a small relatively lightweight computer to take with me, and decided on the macook pro 13 inch (upgraded 3 years ago to the m1 chip 13 inch, and now the 2023 m3 chip 1 tbssd laptop.
My 2021 macbook is working fine, and the cycle count is under 500, but regardless, after three years I wanted to get a newer version. Amazon has an Asurion 4 year drops/spills warranty for only $189 so I’ll be getting that as well.
There is not much to say about macbooks except they are so user friendly, intuitive, built like tanks (I dropped mine at a local airport 3 years ago and it never stopped working). The speed of the m1 chip was very fast and now the m3 chip is 30% or so faster. My plan for video work is to get the M3 pro 16inch with a terabyte of ssd as my editing station at home and travel with the 14 inch version. Thanks to Amazon for a great delivery and carefully making sure that this laptop was in good working order. I can’t speak highly enough for how generous Amazon is to its customers.

So far I’m loving it. Well built. Display is vibrant. Love the various ports especially the SD card reader. Works with my external gaming monitor. (I don’t use this computer for gaming). First time MAC user and I’ll never go back. Speed is good for videos.

This laptop replaced my old but still running 2007 MacBook Pro. I am so impressed by the upgrades to the Battery life, performance, processing speed, screen, and sound system. My only regret is that I didn’t get a larger screen as I will be using this as my primary work computer. Another happy MacBook user.

The build on this MacBook Pro is very impressive, apple makes great quality products that will never disappoint, I’m very happy with my purchase. This is a definite upgrade from my old pc. The battery life is perfect, I still can run a day on it with moderate use, the battery and fast processor is a win in my opinion. The vivid colors on the screen will definitely impress you. Definitely portable with a nice weight to it. I really recommend any product from apple.
